The Spirit of '76
In 1976... 'MOJO' had become so widespread that the Permian seniors were to let it be known MOJO and Odessa Permian High School were one in the same. Their statement speaks loud to this day in the form of the big, bold three foot letters tacked across the front of the school, spelling out the chant word... M O J O. |

The Sportz All-District 2-5A football selection list has been released for 2012. Four Panthers were named to the First Team, and another four collected Second Team honors. Jorrion Wilson, Andrews Perez, and Andre Gillette were offensive representatives and Tanner Vestal on defense for Permian's first teamers. Jack Wilkins, Aaron Chatham, Junior Gomez, and Clay Adams were also recipients.
