Dr. David Ellis
 
Dr. Ellis was born in Phoenix, Arizona, but was raised in Odessa.  Following his graduation from Permian in 1970, Dr. Ellis went to Southern Methodist University and received his bachelor's degree in biology.  He went on to the University of Kansas to be a teaching assistant in biochemistry, and then attended medical school at the University of North Texas / Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine.

He joined the Army and spent 27 years traveling the world, finally retiring as a Colonel.  Dr. Ellis moved back to Odessa in October 2007.  He began his practice in mid-November and it has grown steadily.
