VS ABILENE COOPER - 10/19/2007

COUGARS HELD SCORELESS THROUGH THREE
The Panthers jumped out to a 23-0 halftime lead over the Cooper Cougars in Shotwell Stadium.  By the end of the third quarter, the Mojo defense held Cooper to a minus 10 yards rushing in the 40-14 shellacking of the Cougars.  Taylor Byrd led the offense with 109 yards rushing, three rushing scores and also passed for 150 yards. Jamison Berryhill also had two touchdown runs of 15 and 17 yards and finished with 72 yards rushing.  Cooper's only points came in the fourth quarter on a Timmy Dixon reception from Ricky Stevenson and a five-yard run by A'mon Pimpton.  Secondary personnel for the Panthers were in the game by that time.

FIRST HIGH SCHOOL FOOTBALL MUSEUM

The first ever virtual Permian High School football museum honors a history known the world over and has now opened to the internet community.  If you were a part of the early days of PHS (60s, 70s, or 80s), we would like for you to share your greatest memory with us for inclusion in the museum.  This includes the best game, road trips to Ratliff East, burning the Angry Orange candles in front of the Field House, the countless splinters from W.T. Barrett Stadium, or what it's like being a graduate of Permian High School... unless it's the Original, all you have is imitation.
